Nous Portal

What it is

Nous Portal launched 2026-04-27 as the subscription product from Nous Research for Hermes Agent users. Single auth, monthly credits, 300+ models, tool gateway (web search, image generation, TTS, browser automation).

How the catalog works

• Public manifest: https://hermes-agent.nousresearch.com/docs/api/model-catalog.json
• Two provider blocks: openrouter (33 curated ids filtered by tool-calling + free pricing) and nous (24 Nous-specific model ids)
• Per-tier pricing is gated live in the Portal — not exposed in the public manifest

Tiers

• Free: Limited rotating free models. Good for testing the Portal setup.
• Plus ($20/mo): $22 in credits (10% bonus). Covers model usage + tool gateway in one auth.

Verdict

Strong choice if you’re all-in on Hermes Agent. Single OAuth + monthly credits covers model + tools. Caveat: per-token rates for premium models can be higher than going direct.
